This corner of the GenerousGenealogists "world" is dedicated to helping you get answers to your questions about genealogy, genealogy research tricks & tips as well as about our site. Everyone may read the material available here, regardless of site registration status. Responses are restricted to registered GenerousGenealogists members. Membership is free.

You will notice that this area looks a quite lot like StackExchange, askubuntu and Yahoo Answers. Although our site may look like some of the big players, we are a self-hosted and standalone website "blended" into the GenerousGenealogists environment. We are using Question2Answer (Q2A) open source software which is integrated with our main WordPress based site.

It is important to note, this area is linked from a registered membership perspective to the main GenerousGenealogists site.Your registration and login are shared across all components of our environments; so don't be fooled by the fact that this area looks a bit different from the other parts of our site.

Again please note, anyone may read the information here; but, only registered users may contribute. If you choose to register you may do so either manually or via one of our accepted social logins. Because we want to encourage open and free dialog, we encourage everyone to register. There is no cost, nor will we ever sell or give away your contact information.
