GenerousGenealogists & the APG

I am very pleased to announce that the October 2012 issue of the APG (Association of Professional Genealogists) has published a small article about GenerousGenealogists. To quote the APG eNews publication:

APG member Mark Rabideau has launched a new website, Generous Genealogists. Volunteers donate their time to provide research, networking, and coaching to the genealogy community at large. Building on the mission and the intent of the now defunct Random Acts of Genealogical Kindness website, the “golden rule” for the Generous Genealogists community is to “help others as you would be helped.”

According to Mark, “We are a vibrant, vital, and growing community, teaching and helping each other in the best methods and traditions of the genealogists today, yesterday, and hopefully, tomorrow.”

The site includes brick-wall forums, coaching and mentoring articles, and, of course, an army of volunteers. Visit the website at generousgenealogists.com to learn more.
